2026 HHST Merchandise Associate

The Merchandise Associate is responsible for providing exceptional guest service while assisting with the sale of merchandise and rentals throughout the park. This role includes operating registers, stocking shelves, maintaining store cleanliness, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all guests. The Merchandise Associate plays a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere by providing friendly, efficient service and supporting team operations. 

Pay: $8.50/Hr

• Maintain merchandise displays and ensure shelves are stocked and organized. 

• Keep areas clean, organized, and visually appealing. 

• Provide exceptional guest service by engaging with guests, answering questions, and resolving concerns promptly. Answer guest questions regarding products, promotions, and park information. 

• Accurately handle transactions using point-of-sale systems. 

• Prepare and serve food and beverages to guests following established company and sanitation standards. 

• Follow all safety, sanitation, and company procedures at all times. 

• Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and breakdown of Merchandise stations. 

• Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors  

• Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and uniform guidelines. 

• Guest Service – Strong interpersonal skills to provide a welcoming and positive guest experience. 

• Attention to Detail – Ensuring accuracy in food and beverage preparation, POS transactions, and compliance with standards. 

• Time Management – Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. 

• Problem-Solving – Ability to resolve guest concerns and operational issues quickly and professionally. 

• Adaptability – Ability to adjust to changing guest needs and operational demands. 

• Reliability & Dependability – Consistently punctual, trustworthy, and committed to maintaining standards. 

Minimum Requirements  

• At least 15 years of age or older. 

• Work in varied weather conditions. 

• Must obtain and maintain ServSafe Food Handlers Certification.  

• Must be willing to work on a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays. 

• Black slip- resistant shoes required
