EMT Basic

As an EMT, you will assess patients, provide First Aid and Basic Life Support, administer medications, and assist with trauma and medical care. You will also ensure safe patient transport and serve as a Safety Officer by conducting facility and equipment inspections to maintain a safe environment.

• Your application will not be considered unless your certifications (state and AHS) are uploaded.
• This position may have potential exposure to blood, bodily fluids, other potentially infectious materials and communicable diseases.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be currently certified by TDH as EMT-B or Licensed Paramedic.
• Must be in good standing with TDH.
• Must have current CPR (BLS Provider) certification
• Must have good communication and leadership skills.
• Must be able to perform duties listed in the job description.
• Texas drivers’ license required.
• American Heart Association BLS and ACLS
