Overview

Behind every great show is a team making it seam effortless. Responsible for supporting daily costuming operations in a fast-paced theme park environment, including the maintenance, repair, and organization of costumes for entertainment staff—always making sure the show goes on seamlessly. Utilizes sewing machines and tools to keep every look stage-ready, while responding quickly to urgent needs and unexpected situations. Maintains a high level of safety awareness and professionalism during long, physically demanding shifts. Delivers friendly, guest-focused interactions and collaborates effectively with team members to ensure every performance is a perfect fit across nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

  • Operating sewing equipment.
  • Performing general repairs.
  • Alteration of costumes.
  • Assisting in the laundry of costumes.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Payrate: $16.50/hr

Qualifications

Qualifications & Requirements

  • Effective English communication skills, including reading, speaking, and comprehension
  • Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to remain calm and responsive in high-pressure or emergency situations
  • Experience or familiarity with sewing machines and costume maintenance tools preferred
  • Strong ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Safety-conscious with a friendly, outgoing demeanor
  • Must be at least 18 years of age

Physical Capabilities

  • Ability to sit, stand, bend, and kneel for extended periods
  • Strong hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, and attention to detail (including color accuracy)
  • Capable of standing/walking for extended shifts (up to 14 hours; 3+ miles daily)
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs., including lifting items above shoulder level
