WHAT WE PROVIDE

This is a Seasonal position based at Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Team Members receive complimentary park admission for themselves and a guest, additional free tickets throughout the season, merchandise and food discounts, flexible scheduling, access to Dayforce Wallet, and bi-weekly pay. Retail Leads gain valuable leadership experience while helping create memorable guest experiences in one of the most dynamic retail environments in San Antonio.

Responsibilities

Retail Leads play an essential role in supporting the daily operation of our retail locations. This is a working leadership position responsible for guiding team members, delivering exceptional guest service, and maintaining high operational standards. Retail Leads are expected to lead with integrity, demonstrate strong communication skills, and represent the values of Six Flags Fiesta Texas through their professionalism and example.

 

Operational and Guest Experience Responsibilities

  • Support daily retail operations within an assigned store or merchandise location
  • Provide assistance with sales, guest engagement, and merchandise presentation
  • Maintain cleanliness, product organization, and visual merchandising standards
  • Assist with point-of-sale transactions and guest inquiries
  • Ensure adherence to all safety procedures, retail policies, and cash-handling guidelines
  • Serve as the first level of escalation for guest questions and concerns
  • Support restocking, inventory rotation, and product replenishment

 

Leadership Responsibilities

  • Lead with integrity, respect, and professionalism in all interactions
  • Serve as a role model by demonstrating excellent guest service and work habits
  • Assign tasks and responsibilities to retail team members
  • Oversee employee breaks and ensure proper shift coverage
  • Provide on-the-job training, coaching, and support for new and existing team members
  • Maintain an inclusive, positive team environment and encourage open communication
  • Offer constructive feedback and recognize team members for their contributions
  • Help team members understand how their role impacts the overall guest experience
  • Take ownership of responsibilities and ensure completion of assigned duties
  • Support the ongoing development of the team and cultivate a high-performing environment

Qualifications

  • Strong guest service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead peers in a fast-paced retail environment
  • Basic understanding of point-of-sale systems and cash-handling procedures
  • Ability to multitask while maintaining store standards
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift merchandise as needed
  • Availability to work weekends, evenings, and holidays

 

OTHER NOTES

  • This position performs additional duties as assigned to support the park’s overall success.
  • Reports to the Retail Supervisor.
